LBC Help please - autistic!

Hi
I'm autistic and am REALLY struggling to read and understand all the newbie posts so please be nice
I'd already started trying to deal with this before I found this forum, so have made mistakes I think, so please let me know if I should pay or not!
I parked at an RCP car park and the ticket blew off my dashboard onto the seat. I sent a photo of the ticket plus a screenshot of the 25mph weather report to appeal and was rejected.
Since then I've been getting letters which I've ignored, including the latest which says its a Letter Before Claim but has a credit agency to pay, so I think this is fake, yes?
What do I do now? Obviously I've done steps wrong along the way so do I stand a chance if this goes to court, or should I just pay it now, and save myself the meltdown I have each time a new letter appears! Please don't tell me to go back and read the newbies stuff - my brain can't cope with it.

@stuffster welcome to the forum. You are now in the right place for advice and, in general, we are nice to posters who have done some of their homework by reading, re-reading and reading again the Newbies post, which it sounds like you've done.
Which parking company issued the PCN and where did the event take place? Which legal company issued the supposed LBC? Can you show us a redacted version of it? Usually, a valid letter of claim will give you 30 days to respond. Some of the fake ones issued by debt collectors only offer 14 days.
Anyway, you probably know about ignoring all the debt collector letters, which, although they appear scary are bet saved and used as kindling should the need ever arise. If it is a real LBC, then follow the advice in the Newbies thread that tells you to write to the solicitors and request a 30-day delay whilst you seek debt advice. But don't send that email until the original 30 days they give you so that you have a bit more time to research on here all the steps involved.3 -
If the LBC gives you 14 days to respond, then it is a debt collector letter and can be ignored. A real one will give you 30 days.
If the client or payee is a debt company then it can also be ignored.
Is it by any chance from CST Law?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks5 -
Thanks for the help
The LBC letter is from RCP Parking in Norwich. The payment link is for Credit Investigation Services. It says 30 days but it doesn't have any forms with it or anything.0 -
Hi, where is this car park?
From the Plain Language Commission:

Email the RCP DPO with a SAR to dataprivacy@rcpparking.com.
It doesn't sound like a real LBC unless they have their own litigators in-house. If it is a real LBC then follow the advice in the Newbies thread about court claims. You SAR the PPC and you email either the PPC or their lawyers with the 30-day stay for debt advice blah, blah... but only email that close to their 30-day ultimatum to give you more time to get your act together.

Here is the letter they sent me. Car park is Duke St, Ipswich. Is the Contravention: Unknown bit strange, or is that normal wording?

A real LBC should follow these rules: https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/pdf/protocols/debt-pap.pdf
Just look on how many points it fails as a real LBC.4 -

A Letter Before Claim that states "Contravention Unknown".
Unbelievable.
That makes no sense.
Shouldn't it read "Original Balance: £100?

They can't add £79.
Report them to the BPA. May as well waste their time like they are wasting yours.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
