Is it a debt until a judge says so?  Anyway the BPS BPA code of practice was written for the PPCs so of course it will say that!

@stuffster have a read of this court case where the judge threw it out because the addition of "extra" charges is an abuse of process in an attempt at double recovery:

CIS are part of the TNC Collection Services group. I believe you have received a debt collector letter which can safely be ignored. The clue is that the letter is asking you to pay CIS, not RCP.

Sleep easy, and come back to your thread if you get a court claim from the CCBC (County Court Business Centre) in Northampton.
