    They can't add £79.

Report them to the BPA.  May as well waste their time like they are wasting yours.
Is this correct? The BPA say they can add admin charges if they have to use debt recovery for their money
    .
28.8 You must warn drivers that if they delay payment beyond a payment period of 28 days and you need to take court action or use debt recovery methods to recover a debt, there may be extra ‘recovery’ charges for debt recovery action. However, you do not need to say how much these recovery charges are in advance, on your signs or notices.

Is it a debt until a judge says so?  Anyway the BPS BPA code of practice was written for the PPCs so of course it will say that!

@stuffster have a read of this court case where the judge threw it out because the addition of "extra" charges is an abuse of process in an attempt at double recovery:

CIS are part of the TNC Collection Services group. I believe you have received a debt collector letter which can safely be ignored. The clue is that the letter is asking you to pay CIS, not RCP.

Sleep easy, and come back to your thread if you get a court claim from the CCBC (County Court Business Centre) in Northampton.
