Moneyfacts - easy access savings section?

The Moneyfacts website seems to have lost its 'easy access savings' section over recent days.

Is this just me or have others noticed the same?

I don't know where the monyfactscompare URL came from. Could be an unauthorised clone.

Just use moneyfacts.co.uk and you'll be fine.

I see - it is in the Easy Access Savings section within 'Today's best notice accounts'.

I searched afresh for Moneyfacts again and got to the same place...

It seems that the site has been redesigned.

Hmh. you are right, when I refresh mine, it comes back with moneyfactscompare....... But I do see the easy access accounts.

They do list them under Notice accounts........

On the official Moneyfacts website the other day there was a message at the top saying that the site would be down for a short time for maintenance and that they were changing their name to Moneyfactscompare.

Also be aware that when you go to the list of savings accounts, you will only see the top rates that you can click through to the provider from the moneyfacts site, which is how they make money. To included all providers you have to go to the top of the table on the left and click on 'Rate Order'

I bet they paid a Consultancy a lot of money to rebrand from a snappy moneyfacts to a mouthful of moneyfactscompare. And to boot, they have redefined easy access accounts as Notice accounts. Never mind. It's still a good / the best resource for savings rates.

I could believe that, not having "compare" or similar in their name, it seemed they weren't being found, or used, very often after web searches for "compare interest", "compare savings" etc. "MoneyFacts" can sound, to someone who doesn't know them, like a site to teach people about money.
