Plum cancelled Direct Debit needed for TSB switch

For switching to TSB (now done) I set up a Plum direct debit with the donor account. But in the past few days I received a couple of messages about them losing the connection, which I ignored as I was under the impression that didn't affect the DD. Now they have emailed me to say they have cancelled the DD. It's still showing in TSB though. How much of a problem is this for the switch? Can Plum cancelling the direct debit with the previous bank filter through somehow and get it cancelled with TSB? I didn't think the TSB DD's actually needed to be paying out, just active, so is it safe to ignore this? Would a new link from Plum to TSB be a good idea, maybe with a different DD amount, or maybe a bad idea?
Thanks for any advice.

I think the Plum DD on the old account will count as one of the two active DDs needed at the point of switching. Linking Plum to the new account now and setting up a new DD should help satisfy the other conditions for the cashback. I hope this is correct as this is my plan too.0

You then need to have completed a full switch to a TSB Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account using the Current Account Switch Service, logged into the TSB Mobile Banking App, made at least one debit card payment and have two active Direct Debits by 24 March 2023.

Yes I know all the terms and conditions for the switch. But can Plum cancelling the DD with the donor account filter through and get it removed from the TSB account or will it stay showing up as active in TSB even if Plum have cancelled it their end?0

When is the switch? Do you have time to setup another dd?0

The switch already completed. I set up PayPal and Plum on the donor account, and they both paid out and showed as Active. Then I completed the switch. After which both showed as Active on the new TSB account. So far so good. But now Plum has cancelled their DD their end apparently. The TSB T&C's state that by 24th March I need to have 2+ Direct Debits. And for the extra £75 between 01.04.2023 and 31.10.2023 I need to have 2+ Direct Debits. So is this "cancelled" Plum direct debit going to disappear from TSB now and mess things up? Or will it carry on showing up as Active? I don't know that much about DD's.0

Well, now the Plum Direct Debit has disappeared from the TSB account. And Plum is refusing to link to TSB as a main account, claiming it's a "credit card, savings or business account" or "has an unsupported currency". Marvellous!
My advice is don't use Plum to fulfil DD requirements.0 -
Final update. Trying again in the light of day and the fresh link to TSB worked ok when done via the app. The Plum app opened a web page for TSB which had an option to open in the TSB app which I didn't see at first (small and at the bottom and only flashed up for a moment) and doing that made a working link which immediately also set up a new DD without me doing anything. It should show up before Friday 24th March. Maybe that's of help to somebody.1

I've since linked my new TSB account to plum, which has created a new direct debit instruction on the account with a new reference number.
Is this going to break the switch bonus? How did you get on?0 -
I had this problem but with Moneybox, they blamed the previous account cancelling it before the switch completed however the dates they gave were total crap. Looks like switching DDs is a bit flaky0
