Bank account suitable for small community group

Morning all.  I am on the committee for a small social community group with monthly meetings in a village hall.  Mostly elderly people come along.  We have a business bank account at the moment but it doesn't feel like the right kind of account and the bank don't quite seem to understand what we do.  They're also hugely inefficient, getting names wrong, sending stuff to the wrong address and so on.  They've also sent us a questionnaire asking about trading abroad etc which is obviously inapproopiate so we want to find a new account.

Research has discovered that there are accounts for charities and CICs but we are neither.  I wondered if anyone on here runs a small group like this and has any advice.  Would a personal account with 2 signatories (as we have at present) work?

Thanks

Liz

Most banks offer a Community account, we currently use Barclays.

Or open a sole trader account (trading as your club name) with Monzo, Starling or Tide.

The bank will only send information to the officers it has on file. So if information at the bank is wrong then it's not really their fault
