What do you mean by more difficult? There are some pretty sophisticated scammers targeting businesses.adamp87 said:As someone who runs a business I think it’s much more difficult for someone to call us and try and scam money out of us in the sense we see happen to particularly elderly customers say - or send us a dodgy app to use.
They'll get into your email servers, IP phone systems etc. It's more effort, but then businesses tend to have more money and so it's worth the investment.

@Nebulous2 , @phillw ...
I, like you two, use a Santander account as a hub, eSaver limited edition issue 1 for me.
It's a bit painful but not too much, setting up is a new 'payee' is clunky and making a payment is gaining more and more steps, but they have had considerable opportunity to 'intercept' a payment, but haven't, and I have been transferring thousands between various accounts mostly new. The only problem I had was with First Direct when I transferred £1k back to the hub without the 'tester' first (sorry Phil) it disappeared for 2 1/2 hours before I got the text, before that only getting the standard answer from CS.
I do get the 2-step authorization, like you, now for every payment.0
