Ryanair - Advice please!

I remember hearing that EasyJet will credit you the difference if a flight you have booked later goes down in price, and you can use that towards the cost of a future booking. Does anyone know if Ryanair do the same thing? Can't find anything on their website about it.

Cheers!

Julie

Easy jet only do this if you change the booking to a different flight. They charge/refund the difference in price ontop of the £35(?) for altering a booking

It appears to be the opposite of what you say:

    2 Price Promise

Any easyJet passenger who has made a booking and subsequently finds that lower fares (when taken together with all applicable charges) for the same easyJet flight have become available [/b]will be refunded the difference[/b] as a credit against future flights on easyJet. The only exception to this is if the lower fares are part of a promotional offer.

6 Flight transfers & Flexible Fares

Passengers can transfer reservations for an administration fee per passenger per one-way flight (see tables below), plus any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time the change is made. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made.

The admin fee is £17.50/ £22.50 (online/ offline).

But no, I've never heard of Ryanair offering anything similar. Though it might be fun to ask at the customer services desk and watch them laugh in your face :rotfl:

They used to offer a "Low Fares Guarantee" against competitors prices, but, just like easyJet's effort, the terms were so restrictive as to make it worthless.

It's a fair cop, must be a change in T&Cs as I got the refund on a flight transfer last year.
