I opened my Club Lloyds Regular saver and made the first deposit on 26th October. Then paid in manually on 1st November and continue to pay in manually on the first of every month. Didn't bother setting up a standing order.

If you haven't deposited any money yet in March, then do it now.

Thanks for all the comments , after talking to someone from lloyds the phone ( after speaking to the head of the department)  they cleared it all  up .

they advised to make an payment today and then setup a SO for April the 1st .

They also said as I made the 2nd payment on Saturday ( 25th of feb ) it showed on my bank statement as the 27th so I should receive the interest for that month.

Thanks again for all the help , just wished I asked here rather than lloyds.

Sounds as if you got correct advice from Lloyds at long last

I just hope Lloyds won’t tinker with their systems after all the weaknesses have been discussed to death in this and other MSE Forum threads.
