Where are sky coming from, this is my current package (out of contract)
Current: Signature £22, HD £6 Fibre £28.50 BB Boost £4 = £60.50
And this is what they offered me:
Offered: Signature £22, HD £7 Fibre £34.50 BB Boost £4 = £67.50
Advised them that I can get the Virgin Media Bigger Bundle for £37.50 a month, but they came back with that ridiculous offer!!
Think it may be time to move on, still with them for mobile as they reduced the price when asked, shame they cannot do it for TV and fibre.

Place a 31 day cancellation notice then near to the end of your cancellation either contact their winback team to see what they can offer or move to virgin. Being out of contract gives you all the leverage in your situation so if they want to retain you then they’ll have to play ball.0

Well, I have ordered Virgin Media and will need to call back sky to cancel. Now to learn a new system! Although the first bill from virgin will be a lot, £19.99 set up fee and then 2 months at £37.50 !!!If the world is a stage... I want better lighting!0

Been with VM for about 7 years I think. The best way I found with them is to add on extra bits to pay the same price at end of contract, although last year they added on loads and the price went down. Had to take on an O2 SIM for £10 a month, but still saved about £30 a month.0
