Bidding early and having newbies bid against you (shill or otherwise) will always push the price up. You should be sniping the auction if you want to try and get it for the best price.0

Bid in the last 10-20 seconds of the auction with your maximum bid. You can either do it manually or use online websites. I have a very high success rate with it and I normally get it cheaper than competing with the nibblers or shillers

My Ebay paranoia would kick in with 3 newbie 0 feedback members and only one other member on 74 feedback. Their previous sales items were not more than £1.99 in the past month. As said it really depends on your highest bid you are willing to bid.
Its possible the 0 feedback member could retract their bid right at the last second leaving a winning bid he would accept.
If the auction is dodgy they might end up relisting and you could place a bid in the last few seconds.
I have no idea what a dress dummy is worth but I guess you have done some research....good luck0 -
One other thing that would put me off making a bid
I ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITEMS DAMAGED OR LOST IN THE POST0 -
think i am going to leave this one its a guy selling it and not being sexist sounds dodgy, trying to find a site to use for sniping so i can download it.
you have been so helpful. A dressmakers dummy is used for modelling/fitting
clothes when you are sewing. I have five bridesmaids dresses to make and i thought it would save me money
have a good xmas will let you know how i get on with the others ones i am watching
bye0 -
They might be genuine but I agree with freddysmith about the disclaiming responsibility for postage - not good!
I sold one of these a few months ago - it was a really old one so some historic interest I suppose - it went for a really good price and had a lot of interested bidders.:j0 -
Those disclaimers are useless if you pay by paypal0
