Accidentally went into "unauthorised overdraft" - affect credit standing?

Options
Hi. Well it's finally happened. Through a simple oversight and moving money around at the wrong time I accidentally slipped into an "unauthorised overdraft" on one of my accounts due to a credit card payment (didnt bounce). It was a complete oversight and I put money in the account within a couple of hours to rectify the problem. Will this apear on my credit history?

You should be fine if you corrected this within the same day. Tends to be overnight processing that flags this.

Of course if you need to provide statements to someone for a mortgage application this will probably be flagged up

The payment occured overnight (cant see a specific time) and I corrected it first thing upon waking this morning (bank sent me an SMS).

It will depend on the timings, especially the timings of the bank's batch processing runs (which you're unlikely to be able to ascertain).
However, one "transgression" (if it does get reported) in an otherwise unblemished credit history will have a negligible impact in the eyes of most lenders.

I used to have DD's go out weekly when my wages were paid weekly.
Sometimes the bank would send the DD's out before the wages came in & I'd get a text 'There wasn't enough funds, please make sure there is enough in by 2pm' The bank would then try again later.

I imagine as long as it was done within this time it would be fine. I've not had a default on my credit history.

As above, I get a text from Natwest between 08:30 & 09:00 telling me that there are insufficient funds in my account & that I need to pay cash in by 14:00 to ensure all transactions go through.
