I've received a WhatsApp audio message from someone not on my WhatsApp contacts list and unknown to me.
Would listening to this give my android phone any problems? Do mobiles get viruses?

I would ask why audio not text, as for viruses very unlikely. May be someone doesn’t want to copy what they’re saying4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy

I've deleted it, just in case. If it's important the sender will repeat the contact somehow.0

I suspect it will be spam and if you accept the sender is added to your contact list and can then spam your contacts."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

You did the right thing in deleting it. If it is important then the original sender will get back in touch.Have you searched the number it came from online to see if anything gets shown?Things that are different: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1

I did a quick search, just for that number but nothing specific came up. It was probably just a sales or investment type call or something like that. First time for me, that's why I asked.oldernonethewiser said:You did the right thing in deleting it.
