Appeal for PCN Rejected Due to Address Discrepancy Between RAC Report and Breakdown Location

Hi
My car broke down and had to pull over on the side, on the double yellow line. I called RAC and they concluded that the car needed to be towed, which did happen toward the evening. Meanwhile, I got a PCN (I was not near the car). I challenged the PCN and provided pictures of the vehicle being towed and the RAC report as evidence. I was denied, then I appealed again after I received the NtO. The appeal was rejected, again.
The grounds for the rejection were that the address listed on the RAC report did not match the location where my car had broken down. To be specific, my vehicle had broken down at a crossroads and was stationary on a street corner where parking was not allowed, whereas the breakdown report listed the address on the adjacent street approximately 50 meters away from the actual location. I had to adjust the address when reporting the breakdown because the RAC system did not accept the incident if I entered the precise location.
After my PCN appeal was denied for a second time, I have the opportunity to appeal to London Tribunals. However, I am feeling extremely disheartened and unsure about the likelihood of a favorable outcome.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?

You pay the RAC as a loyal customer, so ask them to clarify the crossroads was where the car was retrieved from. Get that by email and crack on with that extra evidence to improve the strength of your final appeal to the Tribunal.
Tick the box for an in-person or telephone hearing. Always more likely to win by being heard in person.
It is a no-brainer at this stage. No extra financial risk. Nowt to lose. All or nothing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
