If I lose and pay off the CCJ before 28 days would would mortgage lenders be able to see it?

I understand that if I pay within 28 days then the CCJ is removed but would I am wondering if mortgage lenders had extra access that would allow them to see it.

I also heard that even after I pay within 28 days, I would also need to submit an application for the CCJ to disappear completely, is this true?

I will start applying for a mortgage around a month after the court hearing, is that safe or should I give it more time?

Why do you insist on starting a new thread every time you think up a new question?

That's now five threads we have - all about one parking incident.
This is a general question not only related to my case. many people will be wondering the same and this title will help them find the answer and relevant discussion

it's not me creating a new thread that's a problem it's your comments ironically. it's negative and unhelpful, imagine someone trying to find the answer for this question which is what's on people's mind when they're thinking about challenging parking tickets and when they find a thread with the exact question around CCJs AND mortgages and instead of helpful answers they find four comments just arguing about this and suggestions of using Google instead of asking real people.

@Akan100 ChatGPT is your friend. I entered your questions from the initial post and this is the response it gave:

Q1: I understand that if I pay within 28 days then the CCJ is removed but would I am wondering if mortgage lenders had extra access that would allow them to see it.

Q2: I also heard that even after I pay within 28 days, I would also need to submit an application for the CCJ to disappear completely, is this true?
If you pay the CCJ within 28 days, it should not appear on your credit report or the public register of judgments, orders, and fines. Generally, mortgage lenders will use credit reference agencies to assess your creditworthiness, and these agencies will only report the CCJ if it is still outstanding after the 28-day deadline.

Regarding your second question, once you pay the CCJ within the 28-day period, the court will notify the credit reference agencies to remove the CCJ from your credit report. You do not need to submit an application for the CCJ to disappear completely.

However, it's worth noting that it may take some time for the credit reference agencies to update their records, so the CCJ may still appear on your credit report for a short period after you have paid it. It's a good idea to check your credit report regularly to ensure that it has been updated and that the CCJ has been removed.

Perhaps you can now understand why there is so much frustration when questions are asked that can be researched so easily. Answering the questions for someone who obviously hasn't bothered to put much, if any, effort in is quite insulting, particularly for the regulars and experts who donate so much of their own time, gratis, to help the victims of parking scammers.

@B789 You can contact the admin to delete all threads in this forum and just sticky "Ask ChatGPT". However I did in fact ask chatGPT and it said the following

"Once you have paid the CCJ within 28 days, you can apply to have it removed from the Register of Judgments, Orders, and Fines, which is maintained by the Registry Trust. Once removed, it will not show up on your credit report or be visible to mortgage lenders or other potential creditors"

Which isn't consistent with what I've read here so far. either way you cannot rely on chatGPT for serious matters like this

Well, it's not wrong but it isn't all the facts. Of course, it will also depend on how you structure your question. Chat GPT obviously doesn't know how to phrase "you can apply to have it removed" as "you can apply to have it set-aside".

No one said you should rely on only one source for your searches.

And you don't have to 'apply' so that is wrong.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
