Hubby and I recently sold home and move into rental accommodation, we do not like the area we moved to and will look for another rental before we buy again. He is worried changing address three times in three years may impact our credit score - will it?

Yes, but that doesn't matter because no one will ever see it.

It's whether lenders see you as high risk. On its own, changing addresses isn't a major issue, though you may want to wait a while once moved before applying for credit while all your accounts update.

Hi, moving three times in three years doesn't seem so bad.

Just keep an eye on your credit reports from Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

As MorningcoffeeIV says above, you may want to wait after you've moved again before applying for credit - have a regular look at your credit reports. And the credit score isn't seen by anyone but you.

If you really feel that you can't stay where you are until you can buy again, then you don't have any other option but to move.
