    You could just ‘ditch and switch’. Octopus has a very good smart meter team.

    I could, but I'm on a very good tariff which is fixed until Aug, 2024. I'll just keep badgering them!

    I wouldn't waste your time.  My Scottish Power smart meters have never worked from the day of installation and despite repeated complaints they have done absolutely nothing to resolve the issue.

    Two years and waiting.

    Can you get an electrician in to pull your main fuse?
