In need of a foldable shopping trolley

To make shopping easier was thinking if getting a foldable trolley. Shall go with a brand like hoppa or this one I have seen advertised but do not look as strong as the hope. Your thoughts pl, am sure some of our members do use shopping trolley.

The one you are considering is just a bag on wheels.
I've only seen one which should indicate something. You are going to have to drag it when full that will pull on your arms and back. When loading with shopping you have to bend quite low. The sides are soft so you need to hold it open while bending up and down.
One thing to consider is what you do with it at a supermarket. Trolly plus bag.
I and my neighbours have the most popular ones , easy to manoeuvre, no strain on back. Easy to load - if bending is a problem a couple of carrier bags fill and drop in. Otherwise they stay open while loading.
These easily lift off the light frame and can be folded.
There are some fancy ones and a lot of young people here use them. For the exercise of walking  :)

Not convinced that it would last long before the bottom started to drag the ground - something that's happened with other bags on wheels that I've had (mostly sports bags).  I do have (as my children kindly describe it) a 'granny trolley' but apart from moving house have hardly used it as I'm still kidding myself that I'm not the right demographic.

    Definately one of these
https://www.luggagesuperstore.co.uk/rolser-imax-mf-4-wheel-shopping-trolley/ expensive but worth it, still can be found cheaper by searching but make sure it's the right one.
2 wheels for pulling, 2 more drop down when load is heavy so you can push it, also has a clip that attaches to front of trolley when shopping , folds up easily.
People always ask where I got mine as its so handy

While that's a really good idea Tobykim woooow £109 compared to£10 for 2extra wheels is eyewatering.
Micky there are young women here using the usual ones if that helps.
I bought a black one and'pimped' it with stick on crystals to reflect on dim evenings  :)
If your male perhaps put an engine on it for street cred?

Sadly male and so desperate to maintain street cred that I almost broke my back and hips carrying about 30kilos of shopping for 2 miles in a backpack to save £5 on a Lidl shop!  To add insult to injury the shopping trolley then fell out of the cupboard and hit me on the head when I went to put the backpack away ...

    That's not exclusively male.
My neighbour at 89 advised me not to move pots like she does after telling of a hospital appt. Too late, injured. I want to prove I'm not old. At least till I look in the mirror.

Which brand do you have? Might consider a basic hoppa. Do not want to spend a lot of money.!

If you want to save some money have you considered looking in local charity shops?  Most of the ones near me seem to have at least one every week.

Indeed there are some spotless barely used expensive ones for£10
Mine doesn't have a brand. I bought a plain one from a local diy shop to see how it went - then a smarter one from a bag shop.
The frame folds flat and I hang it in the garage. I could remove the bag part and fold but it's'to hand' as it is.
I'd recommend getting one to try out first. My initial problem was trying to steer a supermarket trolly and the shopping trolly. Now, being light, I put it in the supermarket trolly but I don't have a massive shop. I just leave it near the counter in smaller shops.
