Vodafone broadband contract

Last week I signed up for a Vodafone broadband contract. After 5 or 6 days I had heard nothing further and so phoned and was told my order had been rejected because of my credit score. I checked with Experian, Transunion and Clearscore and all credt scores were fine. Were Vodafone just trying to get out of a good deal? I missed the deadline for the next best while awaiting their answer.

Credit scores are not seen by anyone else but you. Have you actually checked your credit history for defaults, missed payments etc.?0

All that does is put it in a format that you can understand.Something on your credit record has spooked them and rejected the application. It will probably be in your best interest to find out what this could have been and either get a correction raised or (if applicable) clear it.

Thank you. How can find out, please? I asked Vodafone and they gave me no help. There is nothing that I know of that should have caused a problem, unless it is that my energy company, off there own bat, decided to stop taking my routine DD as I was so far in credit.
