Has the interest rate risen on BoS Vantage Account?

I checked my BoS Vantage account and they paid me £4.09  on a balance of less than £5000.

The past few months I've only been getting around £2.00

Yes, the rate went up on Jan 31st. It's still a rubbish rate however, you can do way better even with instant access savings.

Yes, I know that, but I need a current account for my DDs and anything over £5000  goes into a Cynergy Savings Account.

This still makes little sense unless you need that big balance for DDs.
Keep there, say, £500 for DDs and move the rest to a 3%+ account - and you'll be more than £5 p.m. better off (at the new rates; more at the previous lower rates)
