Pop and mobility

Hi my daughter is in a nursing home and has been in several for the last five years. She is severely disabled and gets higher mobility and pip. As she's in a nursing home atm she doesn't receive this only boarder payments when she's home. Which is good. My question is 3 years ago she was in a care home, which means she was entitled to mobility,. This was never claimed as I was unaware, even though she was on paper getting it as the DLA thought it was a nursing home not care home. Can I backdate do you think? Apparently a care home you get it nursing home you don't. Ty
