Can I leave Plusnet after completing minimum term contract

I have been with Plusnet for about 3-4 years. When they changed the rental saver back in January 2022, I spoke to them and they advised me of the new combined costs. What I wasn't aware of was that at the time they extended my contract for a further 18 months. I only realised this when I checked my contract terms last evening. I'm not overly impressed with the general service and it seems I have to remain with them until October and absorb the 14.4% increase from April. Can I cancel this contract or am I obligated to stay with them or pay a penalty to leave

You should have received a new contract email or letter in January 2022, suggest you check for those.
If the April increase is baked into the contract, which it probably is according to your timings, then that increase will not trigger a get out of contract for free clause.
The early termination charges are likely to apply, you need to look at the Ts and Cs to see how much they are.
Edit : 18 months from January 2022 should take you to July, not October.
