Declare underpinning to home insurance?

I ended up going direct to a company who didn’t ask such silly question. The only question about subsidence was has it suffered from it which the house isn’t.

Good.   You were right to ask, the stupid question was theirs.  If it was you asking it wasn't a stupid question.   Them asking it really questions my faith in some people's abilities.
