Hello
I am moving in with my partner and rather setting up a joint account with our banks, was wondering if there were trusted sites/banks that do a prepaid joint debit cards. The card would be used for food shopping and fuel and credited every month with a certain amount
Thanks in advance 👍

Can you get a credit card instead?Prepaid cards usually come with extra costs.Only for Cashblus Delux I see "Add Creditbuilder to your account at no extra cost", but this doesn't mean that other cards don't offer this.

Starling offer a 'Connected Card' for free which might suit your needs:Barclays uniquely offer that you can add an 'Authorised User' to a current account in one of your names for £3 per user per month:

Monese do joint accounts that are good and they don’t report to my credit file (only for the personal account).0

Another possibility is Utility Warehouse, although you also need to have utilities with them. We have all utilities which gets us a decent gas and electricity rate, we pay £2 per month for the prepaid card and get 1% back on all purchases (more in certain places) which comes straight off the bill.0

Our spends mean we get around £8-£10 cash back / money off the bill in a normal month0

Consider Hyperjar if most spending will be via card - completely free, you both get a card and create as many "jars" (saving pots) as you like, you can share them with each other and you would both see all spending immediately via notification. You can choose through the app which "jar" your card is linked to.0
