Dp1 my DD is addicted to buying and selling on Vinted. She says it's far less hassle than EBay and has had some really good bargains for herself and the girls, especially dancewear. My hairdresser is addicted too but in her case it's designer stuff! She got some Christian Louboutin shoes with ridiculously high heels which she daren't wear for fear of falling over! And they weren't cheap!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"6

Morning all
Dry bright and sunny here but with a bit of a sharp wind.
I am going to collect my private client today and his mum and drive them to a physio appointment for Rob (my client ) his mum doesn’t drive, I shall wait for them and then take him onto work, mum will get a taxi home.
Dinner tonight will be chilli and rice. House is quite tidy and there is no washing to do for a change.
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning all, quiet day for me today. Just had my delivery and packed all away. May be picking up DGS later, not sure yet. We had to hurry with him to DS2s after school last night as we had a fair drive up the M61 to between Lancaster and Morecambe. He'd been chosen to play in a team which is coached by an ex pro who runs the classes he attends. I took some sandwiches, snacks and lots of drinks as it meant we'd miss tea. Nice drive up,it made a change - we saw the sea and a lovely sunset, but there was a chill wind blowing off the Lancashire coast. DGD decided to watch proceedings from the warmth of the car
along with my phone . The boys did quite well and we were back in time for his bedtime.
With both menfolk out of the house today I'm going to have a good tidy. After that then I'll start my new library book I got yesterday. I noticed that although the 'warm hub' is still there, the free tea and biscuits they've been doing ended on the 28th Feb.Tea tonight is some turkey slices from the freezer- last of the Xmas turkey.Last night I decided to use some of the face creams I've accumulated, bit of self care as they tell you in the magazines& as my neck is looking a bit wrinkly these days( getting older and lost some weight- side effect
) put some on my neck. Woke up to an itchy red neck grr! I might have to resort to wearing lightweight scarves like my cousins seem to do!
Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)8 -
Morning all I thought it was Sunday. Another full on day in store today, the dw has finished so I'll empty that in a minute and as the sun is shining the wm is on, hopefully things will dry a bit out on the whirly. DGD is still here and eaten several croissants for breakfast, another DGC who eats a lot but is stick thin, unlike me 🤨. DD, DGS and Jasper dog are joining us for a roast chicken lunch with all the trimmings followed by chocolate gateau soon. Later DGD has a riding lesson so I'll go along to watch and I should be back home about 6pm. Phew!
Hope everyone has a good day.
Take care and hugs to anyone in need.

Hi everyone,
Scarlet, I empathise, I've been waking at 4am and doing the same.
Laura has been selling baby stuff on Vinted as well.
Had a nice mooch in Skipton but didn't buy anything. I might try Settle today.
Have a good day.10 -
Morning..Today is the day I take the little princess to the vets. Hopefully putting her in the box won't be traumatic for either of us. I've been powering through my unread shelf of books ready to take them and the soft plastic to the sm. Other than that, nothing today..More blanket, [I miss counted last time, it's not 61 rows left, it's 71...::insert crying face here::] No idea about supper, I need some veggies in something, maybe a coleslaw or curry. And that's my boring day...Scarlet, hope you can stop your brain from wriggling aruond tonight. Coxy, sounds interesting. I like going to see things when someone can expain what's going on otherwise I'd just be looking and going, yep, pretty. Curry sounds nice too.... Lovely pic Gers, good to hear things are improving too. Also good to know about the Mps responsibilities
Nanny, no not cute, I don't think I was ever cute
dp1, good to hear she's on the mend too. Take care all, hope today is a good one..

Mine would kill for Marmite!Snoozer / Scarlet - that's why I listen to podcasts during the night, they drown out the worries and what ifs well. I find it very effective as I still mull over my time in Glasgow with DM, it's like torture sometimes.

Not getting much time to post these days, real life getting in the way. I feel like I’m on a hamster wheel constantly. I’m working full time, looking after ds2 and the doggy.
Ds2 is doing ok, he’s been signed off for 6 months. He’s getting fed up so I do try and get home out of the house on my days off. Will be going up north for his paternal grandfather’s funeral on my days off next week. Dm has had another uti, so she’s back on antibiotics again. She is still waiting to see the consultant.
The car saga continues- back to
the garage again, they have said it needs a new exhaust sensor which should the resolve the engine light coming on each time I drive it. This will be the 3rd time I’ve been back with it.
sorry to hear of candygirl’s passing
Gers - glad your pain from your ribs is improving.
DP1 - glad dgd is feeling better
TA - thinking of you, glad your cat behaved herself.
Scarlet - hope your worries ease and you get a better sleep.
snoozer - enjoy Yorkshire
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care
