Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Very dark chilly start to the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was egg, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and beans. Not sure about tonight will sort later.
Work today and an earlier finish but I have to work Saturday morning but that will be ok.
Keep safe and well x

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
Looks like another damp start here, Yesterday was cold and wet.
I've been up a while, been awake for hours worrying about situations and people I can do nothing about.
We went to the big blue and yellow shed yesterday for a couple of things, and had a good look round - I particularly like the room set ups, they're very cleverly done I think.
Today I should go to the shops, I could do with some eggs.I
Thinking of our poorly and sad people today, take care folks.

Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc, hope you have a good day.
Sorry you have worries Scarlet, hope things are resolved for you.
Dry again, yesterday's washing was dry when I got home so it's all put away. Don't have enough to do today.
Loads done at work yesterday, I was exhausted from thinking when I got home! The children are back today so our peace will be lost.
Interesting photo Gers, hope they get a shifty on for the new boating season. Sounds like you had a good day.
Sorry to hear of Candygirl's passing, I remember her (and her dogs).
Hope the little one is recovering dp1.
Lovely of your family to take you flowers TA.
Hope you all have a good day, take care. XX

Morning folks. It's another grey start to the day though it could go any way. Yesterday turned glorious after a shaky morning. I did a short journey to the sea lock from where there's a great view across the sea to my house, it always cheers me up.Today is monthly banking day, already made good by a wee win on the Premium Bonds. To add to the day's pleasure there's a new annual spreadsheet to devise and start to populate. 😀 I've got a telephone appointment with the practice nurse to help sort out some confusion around blood tests. My cracked ribs are still sending out regular reminders though I'm certainly in much less pain. For now I'm sending healing thoughts to all our poorlies and sads. I'm off to wash my hair. Happy Thursday to all.11

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. A grey start here too and rather chilly.
I had a welcome unexpected guest for tea yesterday. Middle DGD invited herself after school. Youngest was at ballet but said she wanted to come another day. She doesn't like getting left out!. They are in a competition in April and she was showing me little videos of their rehearsals. Mostly contemporary. They are growing up too fast.
I too have banking to do this morning, a day late! We are expecting the annual bill for the caravan site any time and those we know who have already got theirs have had nasty shocks over the size of the electricity portion of the bill. So I expect extra money will be getting transferred to cover that. We have already paid £300 for the gas!! Our summer happy place is turning into a costly pleasure.
Other than that there is just the pre-Friday tidy job of cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. Such excitement.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better and MIA. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -

Morning all and thanks for the start @nmlc x
I didn't get on yesterday as was in the office. Sad to hear of candygirl's passing
I went to an event at HoP yesterday and had a mini tour of Westminster Hall and the Lobby. Very interesting and may well book a proper tour when DDad is over this summer. I bought DH a box of chocs in the gift shop.
Sorry to hear of your worries @ScarletRibbons x
Happy new spreadsheet day @Gers - I love a spreadsheet
The car insurance is in - a £90 uplift on last year (for 3 cars, 2 driven by young people) so not too bad. Just waiting for the CT bill and we will know where we are at for the next year. One 'unknown' is whether DD will do a Masters and therefore need supporting for another year. We are yet to have the conversation! She is officially redundant from her part time job in 2 weeks, so need to work out a plan.
Tin can massamam curry for tea tonight. Quick, easy, cheap but most of all very tasty!
Have a good day all and hugs to our poorlies.

Bella - enjoy your quiet day, sometimes it's just perfect.Coxy - your own MP can take you on a tour of the palace, just need to send an email to request it. One of my old friends is a now retired MP for a London constituency but took Alan and I round the whole place in about 1998. Everywhere...I took cash out of the members machine
and shared a drink with the great Tony Benn (I am politically neutral). It's well worth asking and doing.
TA - it's so delightful to read about your lovely DGDs still wanting to visit and stay over with you.DP1 - I hope that your little one is getting less spotty! All my knickers dried on the line. There were only 14 of them so I should have waited but thought that the good weather may soon break and was keen to get them out. Grass still too wet to mow.10 -
Morning everyone
Woke up feeling very achy and with a very sore head, I've taken tablets so hopefully it will have eased by the time I have to go to work.
Little one came up for a play after lunch yesterday. Her spots have faded a lot - we went for a short walk with her balance bike and she was racing ahead of me and really enjoyed it. However by 4pm she was shattered and was ready to go home - she had been fast asleep by 6pm. So she's on the mend but not quite there yet, hopefully she'll get back to nursery next week.
Coxy - I've always thought it would be really interesting to go on a tour of the Houses of Parliament, but have never actually done it. I'd also like to go to the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower - has anyone done that?
I want to list some of little one's outgrown clothes on Vinted this morning - see if it's more profitable than Ebay - I always seem to pay so much on fees.
Hope everyone has a good day today x7 -
DP1 yes I have done it twice its very interesting well worth doingSlava Ukraini6
