got a job, what next?

Hi

I have been on Universal Credit since June 2022. I was lucky to be successful in getting a job. I reported the change in circumstances immediately as I got the job, and basically the Job Centre were not interested until I got paid. I have now been paid, and I'm earning above £1000 per month part time. What do I do now to ask the Job Centre to review my Universal Credit and be moved over to the Light Touch group? Also what is the minimum income for this shift to take place?

Many thanks

Now you've been paid, the system should allocate you to the Light Touch regime from the start of your next Assessment period.

Should be triggered at £617 per calendar month for single claimants and £988 per calendar month for couples.
  • Thank you that's really helpful.
