Vinyl click flooring

Looking for a pet friendly flooring and had LVT at last house but everything is so expensive now.
I had the Quickstep before but now looking at the cheaper versions such as Wickes.

Appreciate any recommendations on cheaper solutions and need to be novice diy friendly. Floor seems pretty level.

Would also like it to be a bit more soundproof. The underlay seems so thin, is there anything thicker that would work?
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

We recently had LVT from wickes. Looks good. The underlay (even though not needed) does help. In hindsight should have used better floor insulation and installed underfloor heating. No idea about sound insulation

Fitted b&q lvt around Christmas 2022. Bought their underlay aswell. So far so good and I managed to fit it myself. The ltv was quite delicate along the edges so make sure you you handle delicately and inspect for any slight damage before fitting. After fitting it seems okay but only time will tell. Soundproofing will need more homework though as just underlay might not be enough.

We have bought from here several times.......

however delivery can be expensive if you are only buying a small amount.

For underlay we used this one from Screwfix.......

been down a couple of years now and is fine.

The b and q range seems to be the peel and stick variety, is this what you used @Sistergold? I had something similar in a bathroom previously and after a while it separated leaving gaps between the planks.

We have used this co. Very good product. Has been down for 4 years & not scratched, despite 2 dogs doing their best.

User error LOL, I went back after your post and did a better search and found it, although the reviews for what I'm guessing is their own brand are pretty horrible so I'm going back to look at Quickstep which I have used before.

@juliebunny, it was the click vinyl, used it in the kitchen, also have B&Q click vinyl bought and installed 2019 in two bathrooms (ground floor) and first first floor) also has been okay and still looking good.

In my local B&Q they seem to stock both click vinyl and the peel and stick. I must say I did not particularly like the peel and stick.
