UU- Concrete Minerals- Mineral Eyeshadow in Ruse: description says bronze w/ gold sparkle, and is, but it's so pale and bland, it looks like nothing on me. I am so glad this is gone and I never have to use it again!!!
Yay, big round of applause. I'm having a similar relationship with my MAC eyeshadow called Princess Jasmine. It is a duochrome. In the pan it looks silver/pink but on my eyelid it looks bruise coloured. Nearly there though.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I've thrown away an eyeshadow today - Bare Minerals Nude Beach. It's a small loose one that is a pewter colour. It came in the advent calendar I got in 2019. I've been trying to make it work as an all over lid shade (too cool toned), an inner corner highlighter (too much faff as it's loose) and a facial highlighter (not right) so it's going.

Hi everyone. One UU to report from me:
Green Pharmacy - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Balm. I got this from a beauty box (think one of Caroline Hirons boxes). I enjoyed using it, it doesn't leave residue and cleans skin well. I would buy it if it is on offer but for the full price of £24, feels on the expensive side as I am very happy with TBS cleansing balm for half the price anyway.
I went to TK Maxx yesterday, after a very long time and I gave in to clearance shelf and bought a couple of things:
- Living Proof Dry Shampoo , wanted to try this for a while
- Atomic Bomb Flower Power Body Wash, was reduced to £2
- Merumaya Iconic Youth Serum, I was sad to hear Merumaya stopped trading last year (although they appear to be around still??) as I enjoyed their products. I didn't purchase very often though, as they weren't always available in the places I shop. This was for £12 so I bought two.
I'm going to office 2 days a week, soon to be 3 and this means my good old make-up bag is not going to gather dust any longer. I'm rotating different eyeshadows and trying to use them as much as I can now.

UU:
Sephora Papaya exfoliating wipes (25 count) Terrible product. The exfoliating side was rough as sandpaper, they lost moisture really quickly, a never will buy again.
Clarins mascara gwp size. It was OK, got clumpy towards the end. Going to look in the stash for the new one for April.3 -
@VALM thanks!
it was such a good feeling finishing that eyeshadow, I feel happier already!
good luck with your one- a bruised eye is not a good look- do you have much more to get through? I also have an eyeshadow I'm trashing, but it'll go in April's month as it happened today and I work by my paydays for my months. Must be awful when it's not even worth hate-panning!!
asajj looking forward to hearing what the Living Proof dry shampoo is like- I've heard good things!
Monthly round up
Oh my, it was a spendy spendy month!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did have my Yesstyle order which will hopefully have saved me money in the long run (as it was so much cheaper buying direct than on UK K beauty websites) but the initial outlay was a chunk of money.
INS: 23 (18 replacements, 3 unnecessaries, and 2 new types of items)- I won't tell you how much money it came too because it was a crazy amount and I am horrified it was so much!
OUT: 24 (19 UU, 5 x throw away)
So I'm only 1 product less in my stash this month, but makes sense since I did rather replenish with my Yesstyle order.
I can definitely do better next month, though I am feeling the urge to buy some nail polish....... A England have a Dracula collection, and I'm on holiday in the summer and we're going through Transylvania and I am SO excited..... I might have to have Dracula themed nails when I do so
I think my hair mask will run out next month, so that will need replacing. Probs with the Body Shop banana one as that smells so delicious. Other than that, I don't think anything much will run out that will need replacing- perhaps only my deo and dry shampoo. We shall see!

I used to have this. I loved the colour but found that it highlighted every imperfection on my lids.

uuSavon de Marseille Bar Soap - Rosemary - this was nice but had black bits of rosemary in it which added nothing to the use but were always having to be rinsed out of the sink. WNBADebt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Clutterbug07 Used once and definitely much better than my usual Batiste! Will update once I use a bit more.
One more UU - Ordinary - Salicylic Acid. WBA as it is an amazing value for money and works well for my skin.ally.3 -
@Clutterbug07 there is not much of the Princess Jasmine eyeshadow left. I'll perservere. Your holiday does sound very exciting. I shouldn't enable but having looked at those polishes I would be tempted too. I like the look of the Whitby Abbey one although I used to have an A England polish called Yeoman Warrier that I finished but remember not being overly impressed by. I have decided that I am definitely going to treat myself to the Colourpop The Child palette but am waiting on a lipstick coming back into stock also before I order.@dolly84 I'm not a fan of soaps/bath bombs with things in them for that reason too. Too messy. I think it was you who recommended Yorkshire Soap Company soaps? I'm using a sandalwood one at the moment and am smitten. Will definitely repurchase when I need more.I'm hanging on to report my totals as I'm going out later and will be refreshing my make up in the hope that I finish my primer!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
