Lowell supposed debt from 1997

Good morning, I have received a text from Lowell stating that I have an outstanding debt, I have over the past 6 years received a couple of letters from a debt agency, re a debt from a store card? Fisrtly, I don't think I ever had a store card, if I did, it would have been pre marriage 1997. I have never contacted these people as I thought it was a scam and I have never acknowledged any debt. Where do I stand now please? Thanks

If they can be bothered to ever write to you asking for money, respond with the "provit letter".
