British Gas Business Appalling Customer Service

Have just taken out lots of contracts for the business I work in. British Gas Business have not applied the Energy Relief Scheme Discount to most of the first invoices. The advisor I spoke with yesterday said the scheme doesn’t apply to the first invoices issued if contracts taken after December 1st. But does apply to the following invoices. Clearly it’s been in place since last October. When questioned he hangs up the phone. Appalling service! He even did the same to our energy broker. We are now losing over £500 discount per month on each bill due to this. My broker even asked to raise a complaint with BG. The advisor told him to complain to the government not BG and hung up the phone!
