Returned through Collect+ but item not received by retailer.

I recently purchased from an online catalogue site. I generated a return within an hour of collecting and returned the item to the same Collect+ shop. The catalogue site are saying return not received and that was sent back on the 17/02/23. I have stupidly lost the receipt but whe. I sign into Collect+ it takes me to the Yodel partner and says enrolled. The item was £199. That is a lot of money. Although the catalogue comp have applied a conditional credit return I fear if they don't receive the item I'll have to pay. Do I go back to the Collect+ shop which would be awkward. The coloect+ site wouldn't help. What do I do?

Who arranged the return label, did you pay or did the original company supply a label?

If the label was generated by the company there should be a tracking number available , if you paid yourself how did you actually buy the label?

I generated a return label through the catalogue company. This puts you through to collect+ and then printed it off and took it down. Collect + have merged or something with Yodel and when I click on the email they sent it takes me through to a Yodel. Which says enroute in tracking. I'm stuck. Very say upload the receipt received.

Did you get an e-mail receipt or confirmation of the postage?

I have just ransacked my emails and no I didn't. Not even after he generated a receipt. The only thing I can think is video evidence of me returning the item in the store.

I did receive a generic return information email from Very after generating the label detailing what to do to return.

I had the same issues with collect plus and with royal mail with stuff going missing. I did keep my tracking number and receipt so, even though my parcels got lost, they refunded my account.

I did contact very helpers on twitter and they did an investigation. Either they found them or they are lost, either way I don't know, but they will remove the credit to your account if they don't receive the item.

Is there no info on the tracking on the item in your account?

If you can, try very helpers on twitter.
