Before fixing at any price, check Cornwall Insight, usually bang on!
From the very respected Cornwall Insight
There is some cause for optimism, while the price cap fall may not offer immediate relief, if wholesale prices continue downwards, we predict it will fall below the EPG in July. Our latest forecasts for a typical household:
    Q3 23 (Jul-Sept): £2,112
    Q4 23 (Oct-Dec): £2,118

Q3 and Q4 2023 Standing Charge and Unit Costs forecasts:
     Q3 SC:(£/day) Elec - 0.38, Gas - 0.29 UC: (p/kWh) Elec – 32.28, Gas – 7.77
     Q4 SC (£/day): Elec - 0.38, Gas - 0.30 UC (p/kWh): Elec – 32.38 Gas – 7.75

Bear in mind, any worldwide influence could adversely affect energy prices massively, so if a tariff is available without being tied in, I'd consider it, you could then swap to a better tariff if one becomes later maybe?

February 27 is the date on which those predictions were issued for the quarters of this year, not predictions for February 2027.

Feb 27 refers to the date - February 27 2023, not "Feb '27" as in 4 years hence.

... check to see if there are actually any fixes available at any price? ;)

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Pretty much guess any fix is going to be on the high side for now. No supplier is going to take a big risk & sell cheap. Far too many got burned & went bust.
