Help!!! I really need a mortgage to move myself and 2 children out of ex partner house. I’ve had no success due to having a default on credit file and a low score

OK - first up, the forum isn't an "instant" place for responses - it's not like a chat board for example, so it can take a little while to get feedback.
Are your finances and your budget under control now? And have you tackled the issues which have caused the defaults? Have you got a budget worked out that shows you will be able to meet mortgage payments at the sort of price level you are looking to buy, and do you have a suitable deposit in place?
In terms of the best options for getting a mortgage with a less than stellar credit file (Ignore the "score" - it's just a random number which lenders don't even see - it's the history that's the key thing) then you may well be best to go through a broker - you want a "whole of market" one - they will be able to go through your finances with you and find you lenders whose criteria you will fit.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Try posting on the mortgages board. There are a few mortgage advisors on there, one in particular who deals wit adverse credit mortgages.0
