Anglian Water: Build over agreement exceeding 6m

Hi all! I'm drawing up plans for my single story extension and I have a foul sewer and also a surface water sewer running side by side under where I plan to build. The width of the extension will be 6.37m and I hear that Anglian water have a build over limit of 6m. I'm 37cm over the limit.

Does anyone know how lenient Anglian Water are on this 6m build over rule? Does anyone have any experience with build over applications which have exceeded 6m?

2x 6m is already a lot of sewer being built over, so they may apply the 6m rule fairly rigidly.

What probably matters more is the type of sewer and how many properties are served by it.  The greater the number of properties that could be affected if the sewer collapses then the greater the risk of allowing it/them to be built over.
