That was the text I got
no option to cancel
never asked for any payment etc … didn’t let him in either !0 -
Hi,Did he have your account details?Had you had any previous email/letter about smart meter? As already said there is no charge for smart meter installation.0

The FAQ page link they give goes nowhere. I would call BG and ask if it is them doing this cold calling. If it is just cancel it. I'm all for smart meters but I wouldn't accept this behaviour.1

I will ring them
I’m sure I did get a letter about a smart meter a few months ago
he was parked outside my house when I got on … he’s on cctv with his car reg as well
he did have paperwork / Id etc but I told him nothing and didn’t let him in0 -
How did he get your mobile number?0

I was wondering that too. No idea as I never give himGerry1 said:How did he get your mobile number?
any details
he was very pushy .. but I’d just finished a 10 hour shift at work and couldn’t be bothered to be nice to him
Said I wasn’t interested then he told me it will be compulsory in the future and I would be charged
I told him to “ go away “ !!!! In a slighty less nicer way0 -
Contact BG and tell them you did not agree to an installation and did not appreciate being "ambushed" as you arrived home from work.Rosie1001 said:
