the eBay Virtual Tracking Number (eVTN) allows Royal Mail tracking info to be updated onto the eBay transaction even if the seller forgets to enter the Royal Mail tracking number before they post the parcel.

Is it a requirement by eBay that you add the eCP and/or the eVTN, never heard of them before until today.0

This thread is over a year old, and it is not a "requirement" if you do not use Ebay postage.1
