I got married on Monday to the greatest guy ever and have decided to take his name.
I was just wondering if anyone could help me with my question.....who do I need to tell?
Obviously, dentist, doctors, banks etc....anyone else? Do I need to change it with the council or tax office or anything? I can't think.....
I know it's not urgent really but I'd just like to get stuff out of the way if I can before going back to work in Jan, cos I'll have little or no time then.

Yeah but my passport was due to run out at the beginning of Jan. So I would of had no passport. So made sense to renew before and in my NEW name!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Thats an excellent idea Newlywed.
I need to let uni know - as I'm doing teacher training. However, I'm not in uni again until end of Jan cos I'm on placement in school and I don't live near it either. V annoying. They pay me my bursary and I'm worried if I change account name my payments won't clear anymore. Anyone know if that will happen?Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Work continued to pay my monthly wages in with my maiden name for a while. The account number etc were still the same so my bank allowed it to go through. Apparently they could see on their system what my name used to be - as they also let me pay in a cheque in my maiden name after I changed the account. With the cheque they said if it was a large amount it may be different - but it was small.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
