Hi,
For many years we’ve had a Humax HDR FOX T2 but it’s finally on it’s last legs ( takes about 20 minutes to turn on!).
It’s connected to a Sony Bravia XF87 which I don’t believe has built in free view channels.
I’m not too fussed with recording programmes but really want the extra channels.
What’s the cheapest /best option to achieve this?
Many thanks 😊

If the TV was made after 2010 its almost certainly got Freeview at least built into it.More recent TVs have satellite tuners in, but these don't always work in the Freesat way of things - ie you'll probably end up with six Channel 4's, six Channel 4+1's and about 15 ITV regions amongst other things. Most TVs with built-in satellite tuners that are used will just show you what they can see, which is everything they can show you.1
