Missing item

I ordered a few items from a well-known website, which targets on designer menswear. I have never had any problem with them, not until now.
One item from this order was not sent, which was a ring. I only received the empty box of it, not the item itself. I had escalated this to their customer service, and after around 10 days of time, I was told that they cannot refund it as the investigation is final. Both they and DHL have confirmed that they have no responsibility of it, and refuse to refund the missing item.
According to the website, they said:
*they checked the CCTV of the warehouse, the item was sent.
*DHL confirmed that the parcel was not tampered, re-packed, or damaged.
However, I have clearly expressed my doubt that:
*the parcel was not damaged in a normal sense, but I saw a couple of tiny gaps/holes on the parcel. Also they did not put enough stuffing materials, so when the ring box arrived, the lid and box were not closed. I believe this was the reason why the ring went missing.
*according to them, the weighed the parcel very precisely. But the ring was only 48 g(so I was told) or even lighter, I believe they could not be that precise as the item is just too light.
How should I do? Thank you.
