Surprisingly, I've just added my credit card today to Google Wallet.
Received email confirmation, have not used it yet though.
Have I missed an announcement or something? It's been many years coming.

I got my new VM card in November 2022 and added it the same month to Wallet (I'm sure something popped up inside the VM app telling me it could be done).

I hold VM CC though only remainder sum to repay from last years M1 IMac.
I have had some use via Apple/Google pay apps.
No loner required, visually nice though using Debit card for most Contactless purchases.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
Never realised, added it to Google Wallet and used today.
Was thinking of getting rid of the credit card (have too many cards) because of the Google Wallet issue, but was hesitant because it's my second oldest card. Definite keep now.
The link in the email confirmation still only mentions Apple pay.0
