    In all cases there is no need to leave the capital sum there- it's a bank account after all.
    Would they expect you to leave your salary intact? Money just needs to touch base.

    If it required you to leave a certain sum of money the t&c s would say so.

    Which scenario fits the T&C better?

    1. Sum of £1250 transferred in say on 1 March at 10 am. 
    Transfer £1250 out at 2 pm on 1 March OR

    2. Sum of £1250 transferred in say on 1 March at 10 am. 
    Transfer £1250 out at 9 am on 2 March

    Which scenario fits the T&C better?

    1. Sum of £1250 transferred in say on 1 March at 10 am. 
    Transfer £1250 out at 2 pm on 1 March OR

    2. Sum of £1250 transferred in say on 1 March at 10 am. 
    Transfer £1250 out at 9 am on 2 March
    I transferred it in and transferred it back 10 mins later, admittedly I am still in the process of switching, but I am super confident that that is it for condition 1(c).

    Me? I'd transfer the money after the switch has completed that way it is very obvious that you have met the conditions!
    Money transferred in and out within minutes usually counts- check it is there on the statement.
    Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
