Hi. I have just put an SD card into my Samsung Galaxy J6 phone and now want to save photos etc onto the card. How do you do this? Also can anyone please advise how I transfer existing photos on my phone onto the SD card? Thanks

In the Camera app, go to Settings, scroll down to 'Storage Location' and set to SD Card.

Thank you. I have went into setting and set to SD Card. Will the existing photos I have on my phone be automatically transferred over and if not how do I do that?0

No they wont automatically transfer to the SD card. You can move them using the My Files app, if you need to.
Your best bet is to move or copy them to a PC, if you can. A phone is one of those things that's likely to fail at some point, or be lost or stolen, and then you end up without your photos. Back them up leaving any on the phone that you might want to have easily available.2 -
I'm not Samsung I'm Apple but the obvious thing to do is look on the SD card1

If you've got an amazon prime account just download the app onto your phone and all photos will be backed up onto Prime photos1
