1. The competition is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man aged 18 years or over, except employees of APT Travel Group (“the Promoter”), their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the Promoter or the Competition.
2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules.  The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. Your entry must not disparage the Promoter or any other party affiliated with the promotion or administration of the Competition, nor infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, including without limitation, the use of third party copyright. Your entry shall not feature any other person’s intellectual property, reference to competitive products, or comprise of words which are obscene or vulgar, offensive, abusive, harmful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, invasive of another’s privacy, sexually or racially or ethically or religiously insulting, harassing, profane or otherwise unlawful. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that it believes is in breach of this clause.
4. Entry is restricted to one per person.  Once submitted, entries cannot be amended in any way. No purchase is required to enter take part in this competition.
5. All entries must be received between 12:00am GMT 2 Feb 2023 and 11:59pm GMT on 12 April 2023. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted.  No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
6. The winner will be contacted by the Promoter by telephone or email within seven days of the closing date of the competition. The prize must be booked by 31 May 2023. Once booked, cancellation and change fees may apply if changes are made.
7. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, in accordance with these terms and conditions.
8. The prize as described is available on the date of publication. Should the prize become unavailable, a substitute of equal value will be provided.
9. 1. The prize does not include travel insurance, personal expenditure, incidental costs, or any food, drink or travel other than those stated above.  Visas may be required and are not included in the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their guest have valid passports and travel insurance, to ensure they meet any entry/travel/local requirements for all countries visited and obtain any necessary vaccinations for their trip at their own expense – including being fully vaccinated against Covid-19. The prize is not combinable with APT Club benefits and does not count toward the winner or guest’s Club tier level.
2. The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any costs associated with the prize that are not expressly included here.
3. The prize is valid for travel between June – December 2023, is subject to availability at the time of booking and exclusion periods may apply. Once booked, cancellation and change fees may apply. All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. No credit will be given if the full value of the prize is not utilised on one cruise. The prize is subject to APT’s general information and conditions.
4. Age restrictions apply. The decision for any person under 18 years of age to travel is at the absolute discretion of the management of APT. Any minor guest must be accompanied by parent/legal guardian on the trip.
5. It is a condition of entry that the winner and their guest have comprehensive travel insurance (at their own expense) for use in conjunction with the prize. The winner and their travel companion must take out travel insurance covering accidents, injury, illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable), and personal liability. Prize winner and their guest are required to carry proof of insurance with them and produce it if reasonably requested by the Promoter’s employees or suppliers.
6. It is the winner and their guest’s responsibility to advise the Promoter of any pre-existing medical conditions that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of them requiring medical attention, or that might affect the normal conduct of a trip and the enjoyment of other trip members. The Promoter reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel the booking if it is deemed that the winner or their guest is not suitable for the trip.
7. The winner will be issued with a prize letter and instructions about how to redeem the prize from the Promoter.
8. By entering this Competition, entrants expressly authorise the Promoter, without further consideration, to transmit, reproduce, communicate and broadcast entries on their and other third party social media channels and websites for the purposes of presenting and promoting the Competition (“Marketing”). Entrants agree to unrestricted use of any post-competition publicity for the Promoter’s own purposes in all activities, without limitation, marketing and promotional activities worldwide including use on websites and social media channels.
9. The winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of the Promoter. All promotional materials provided in relation to the prize remain the property of the Promoter.
10. Entrants’ data will be used for the purpose of administration of this competition and in accordance with the permissions granted or withheld at the point of entry. Details on how personal information is processed can be found in our Privacy Policy. The decision by entrants to grant or withhold their consent in relation to the use of their information for marketing purposes will not affect the selection of the winner. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
11. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter. Accordingly the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the competition and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
12. The Promoter is responsible for the publication and adjudication of the competition and provision of the prize.
13. These Terms and Conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of these Terms or their subject matter is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
