Hello
My case with the FOS was recently found in my favour.
What are my next steps if the company won’t comply with the final decision?
Thank you in advance for any help.

Who was the final decision from?
Normally you get a final decision from an adjudicator or investigator first, both you and the company get the choice as if to accept or reject it. If either side reject it then gets sent to an ombudsman to review the case.
If its the final decision from the 2nd tier (aka ombudsman) then you are free to accept/reject their finding but the company has no option but to comply if you accept it.
If its an ombudsman and you had confirmed you accepted the decision then go back to them if the firm hasnt followed their instruction.2 -
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1

The decision was made and signed for at the end of last year. I’ve tried to contact the company but have had no luck in getting an answer from them. I will contact the FOS again.

Just an update. My case has finally been resolved by the company. The FOS were brilliant and everything was done in a timely fashion. The bank dragged their feet at the end but it’s all sorted now.
