Which berry bushes can't be grown in containers?
Options
I purchased some berry bushes in the sale last year but not thinking we hardly have any space for them in the garden.
I think certain ones might do okay in containers they are (Blueberry, Blackcurrant, Loganberry, Raspberry, Goji berry and Gooseberry).
I have very little ground space in sunny positions but lots of shade, any ideas folks?
My other half wants to grow some twisted around a washing line pole but it already has wild rose rugosa and silver queen growing twisted around it.

I grow redcurrants and gooseberries in a shady place. Raspberries grow in woodland near here which I think is their origin. Just need a little sun at some point or bright, not deep shade. You can grow most as cordons, standards to take up less space.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

The Merton has lovely pink flowersIf feeling adventurous, a grape trained up & along? Can be grown in large tubs, but open ground is easier

Gojiberries don't fruit if treated decently. Just masses of long tresses. I'm not even sure if a lot of what's sold is capable of fruiting.
But I do recall a gardening expert saying the best fruiting one he'd seen was growing out of a crack in a tube station platform. So deep rough soil, topped with rubble and hard baked?
Raspberries are woodland plants, and old large walled gardens planted some gooseberries, and currants on the north side of walls to get later harvests. So they'll be slower to ripen but get there.
Do keep an eye out for birds though. The pigeons and blackbirds here eat everything not netted. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1 -

Container growing fails when it's too small and doesn't allow for the roots to run to a natural/decent spread.0 -
Blueberries will do well in large pots with ericaceous soil.1
