First Direct switching offer (£175 + £30 Amazon voucher) - terms and conditions

Hi there.
Are there any additional qualifying requirements for receiving the First Direct switching offer?
It says you need to deposit £1,000 within 3 months of opening the account, but beyond that I can't find any requirements. No direct debits? No minimum monthly pay in?
There's all the usual about switching your "main" or "everyday" current account, but there doesn't seem to be anything else specific required.
Basically I'd be looking to set up a burner account with my existing bank (no direct debits, no income, nothing) and then use that for the switch.
Am I missing something that I have to do?

You've hit the nail on the head there - if it doesn't specify any conditions (eg. about DDs, etc) then there are none. You only need to complete your switch and meet the pay in requirement and you should then get your bonus. After that you can switch away at your leisure.1

Hey!
I'm not sure if I failed to read the T&C properly but made use of this deal a while ago. The £175 was in my account surely but haven't heard anything about the Amazon voucher, has anyone an idea as to how to either claim it or is it just sent to the email you used for your switch registration?
Thanks in advance!

So, although I got my £30 voucher, my partner still has not received an email about hers. We switched to First Direct on the same day. Has anybody else had any problems with this?0

Side question ... I've just switched to this account. To trigger the bonus, once I have deposited the £1000, how long does it have to stay in the account? Can I remove it the next day? Do I have to wait until the bonus is paid (apparently takes 28 days)? ThxIf you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0
