Morning all, the weather doesn't seem to know what to do today and we're having sun, cloud, rain and gusts of wind. Yesterday I got a few little jobs got done then I cooked a new (to me) rice and lo pork dish which was very nice but lacked spice, there is some left for today so I'll add some curry powder to perk it up. We also had pancakes, I haven't made those for a few years and Mr Fix It had finished his before I'd even cooked mine !
This morning I slept later but I have wiped down the kitchen worktops and filled the dw which I shall start up after I have put in the lunch plates. Then I got distracted with a news article on veg shortages 🤨 I started a new jigsaw yesterday so I shall do some of that this afternoon.
Camelot I would put my head down and watch what unfolds from the sidelines.
Gers lovely photo.
taff hope you get your car sorted today and enjoy the crochet, that's something I could never get to grips with.
Izzy what a piece of work your boss is, 🤬
dp1 oh bless little one, she has a lot to put up with.
Iris I can knit and natter, but think the latter would outweigh the former 😁
Sorry if I have forgotten anyone.
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones, anyone in need or just down in the dumps.

Afternoon everyone
Real life is getting in the way of me posting each day.
I have sold my car and managed to get a 5 door which in the time I have had it the sensor light has come on x 2. Spent nearly 6 hours going back and forth to the garage, hopefully it has now been sorted today.
Took Ds2 for his consultant appointment yesterday. The consultant is a bit concerned that the bone doesn’t appear to be growing quick enough but will know more in 4 weeks, if it doesn’t grow then ds2 will need further surgery. The consultant gave him a fit note for 6 months.Ds2 is now allowed to take his leg brace off and to try some gentle movement of his knee.My lovely neighbour walked my doggy yesterday, gave her a bath, cleaned my kitchen and dusted my lounge and straightened up my cushions on the sofa’s. It was lovely to come back home to after spending 6 hours travelling and being at the hospital. Even with discount parking I spent nearly £20 whilst there.Hope everyone is ok. It’s a bit cold and damp today here. I was hoping to drive up north for a few days but may go tomorrow instead now. It might be good for ds2 to have a change of scenery and my dm lives in a bungalow so not a problem.
Ruby - hope the lady is found soon.Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.13 -

Thanks for all the good wishes re little one...I got a bit a of a fright as this time she got ill so quickly - she'd literally been running around minutes earlier! Just five or six hours later she was fine again and tucking into a happy meal! Haven't seen her today as DD took her swimming. Great-nephew and I really enjoyed Puss in Boots - he provided the sweeties - jelly beans, shrimps and bananas. Lovely afternoon x10
