Presumably you saw in the recent 2023 posts in SUCCESSFUL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PPCs that persistent people have successfully got retailers to cancel PCNs by quoting their own values and mission statement at them?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Apart from the corrections required, that is a good response to what is clear to be a copy and paste letter from them.
I have said many times that if you must use McD's, only do so if they have a drive-thu and park outside their premises.
So, that copy and paste letter from McD'S MUST HAVE A TITLE
"THE BIG MAC BURGER SCAM"1 -
So, after more firm emails to Michael Kelly (McDonald’s Customer Services) I was thrown back the same response time and time again:
“Dear ……….,
Thank you for your further email.
I can of course appreciate your further comments but on this occasion, I am only able to refer back to my previous correspondence.
As the parking ticket does appear to have been issued correctly, we are unable to look into the matter and overturn the ticket from here.
Again, I advise that you follow any appeal procedures outlined to you on your ticket and contact POPLA if you wish to as a further action after this point, POPLA are an independent body who rule on such matters. They can be contacted via www.popla.co.uk
Kind regardsMichael Kelly

So I feel I’m at a dead end with them now but definitely made them aware of the serious issues their restaurants have in relation to the PPC’s.I have now sent a SAR to UKPC and a strong worded email to DCBLEGAL using the vast array of threads on this forum, this is what I have said which I hope is firm enough @Coupon-mad:
“Dear Sir/Madam,I write this email in response to a letter received on 18th February 2023.Your Reference: ……….Dated: 15th February 2023Titled: “LETTER OF CLAIM"This letter pertains to an alleged PCN (Parking Charge Notice) reference; ………. which was issued on 19 January 2022 by your client; UK Parking Control Limited (UKPC).The reason quoted as "The recorded duration of the stay was in excess of the maximum stay time” and “Parked for longer than the maximum period permitted’.Due to the lack of information contained within your letter, I’m unable to verify this. Therefore I will not accept any alleged debt.In order for me to identify this alleged event, can you provide clear evidence (photographs) of such that identifies the:(a) Location(b) Date(c) Time(d) Driver of the aforementioned vehicle during said time(e) High resolution image of the contract in situ, on the date of the alleged breachWithout such evidence, it is not possible to recollect an event concerning a vehicle i am no longer the registered keeper of from over a year ago.In parallel to this email I have submitted a Subject Access Request (SAR) to your client; UK Parking Control Limited (UKPC).As such, any “contract” breach, or alleged debt is firmly refuted, subsequently any debt demands and/or aggressive requests for payments will not be acknowledged or answered. Also, can you provide a clear breakdown of the amount of alleged debt due and how this has been calculated. The addition of any extra costs is perceived as extortion and in no way reflects any amount of lost revenue.Email confirmation is required of acknowledgement that this email has been received, read and understood.I look forward to receiving the above mentioned evidence and alleged debt breakdown within the next 14 days.Yours sincerely”0 -
I don't think you should be asking for any of that!
Far better to let them file a doomed claim and copy the defence example by @Johny86 which relies on a woeful set of details in the claim.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

“the only way to possibly stop a claim once a roboclaim firm has got it between their teeth is to wrestle it back out, with forceful words and demanding evidence. The aim is to get your case put in the "too difficult/ not a victim" pile”
Should I have just asked for the 30 days hold? As I wasn’t too concerned about delaying it.Thanks again1 -

DCB Legal Ltd”
I’m slightly confused by this if I’m honest! It looks as though they are backing away but are still asking me to make payment?
I’m not happy with it being left on hold and open until further notice. Should I be responding and telling them to either make a claim or write it off!
Thanks again all who have helped/advised so far.

They are having to put it on hold because you asked for documents that the roboclaim legals don't have (because they have nothing except your data, this is an unchecked conveyor belt situation where they hope to just extract money from people).
So they have no choice but to ask UKPC for the info. But they hope you are daft and will give up and pay!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
