    hi mark.
Has anyone got any advice on how I can escalate please?
i'm sure others can help you with your meter problem but re this question. it doesn't actually matter if bg close your complaint if you arent happy (just make sure you told them you werent happy).

8 weeks after you complained about a problem if you arent happy you can escalate your complaint to the ombudsman.

ombudsman cases are fairly simple but you need to no the ombudsman wont investigate. they will base a decision on what you and the supplier tell them. so you need to be clear and organised about the problem and what you want as a solution (you can complain about the problem and also the customer service but they wont order a change of policy or retraining or things like that).

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.
