Has anyone have tried this,

open a second 1st direct AC using Uswitch link,

you switch your external AC to newly open 1st direct AC

You successfully get £175 + £30 amazon gift card.

If not what about using the existing old 1st direct account,

you switch your external AC to newly open 1st direct AC

You successfully get £175  from 1st direct ??

Any lead to this will be very much appreciated.

This is an old offer.

However you can still get the £175 switching bonus (provided you meet the criteria) and can get an extra £40 if you open the account via Quidco and meet their criteria - although it seems the Quidco cashback takes months to become payable.
